The ProAACtive SLP provides comprehensive and solution-focused communication services. Serving ages 18 months to young adulthood, including early intervention, school-aged children, and adults with developmental disabilities.

Speech Therapy
Comprehensive assessment to determine the ideal communication equipment and strategies needed
Differential diagnosis for speech motor & speech sound disorders
Therapy for Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and speech sound disorders (Articulation & Phonology)

Referrals as needed (eg, ENTs, dentists, orthodontists) to address structural or medical factors

Oral Placement Therapy (OPT)
Comprehensive oral-motor assessment to identify the specific movement, strength, and coordination needs affecting speech, resting oral posture, and feeding
OPT-based therapy using tactile and multi- sensory input to teach clearer, more functional speech, nasal breathing and feeding skills
Caregiver education sessions to confidently carry over exercises into daily routines
Referral to other specialists as needed (eg, ENTs, dentists, orthodontists) to address structural or medical factors
